Love it...sounds like you might have gotten a hold of the wrong stuff.
A lot of sushi is cooked...try a spider roll if you like crab, it is really good and it is cooked.
California rolls may also work well for you too...again, cooked.
The place I eat at often has a plate called "Sushi 101"--all cooked items. If you are intrigued, try it. You might get hooked.

I love sushi! Sashimi even more so....if it's stored properly and everything, sushi can be some really good stuff :)

Sushi is great, but I call it bait and use it to catch frying fish.

I've never tried it. I love fish, but the thought of eating it uncooked just grosses me out. I can't bring myself to do it.
