Not agian. It seems you've fallen off the wagon. Let's focus on what happened in the past with someone who isn't a part of your life anymore and how blind you were convincing yourself that what he was doing was OK at the time. He had no respect for you. Guys tend to disrespect the one they are dating when they don't want to date them anymore. Not only was he disrespecting you, he was trying to look cool in front of his friends by showing them that he could do anything he wanted to you and you were totally under his control. Man, that guy owned the relationship you all had from the beginning. Do you know how? You gave it to him. You gave him the reigns and said "I want you to take control."

My first instinct tells me to ask ...why did you stay with someone who abused you in that way. The reason as to why he would do this to you could be anyones guess. It may be that he is so insecure that the only way he could be one of the guys is to give their eyes a treat. I wont even try to second guess him.......but what I do want to say to you is,..... please have more self respect and don't allow another to abuse you like this.Jerks like this only get away with this sort of behaviour because we allow them to by not standing up to them or walking away. This is not how someone that loves you and respects you behaves.

Sounds like a jerk to me. If he had any respect for you, he wouldn't have done that or anything to humiliate or embarrass you in public, especially in front of other guys.
