If a man has no legal rights in having a say what happens to a fetus he helped create, why should he be required to pay child support?
Why or why not?

Hey folks, I am a woman who has given birth to 3 children and collected child support. I am asking this question out of curiosity and trying to look at it from a mans point of view.

Wombat.... LOL.... Women like me? For your information, I received far less child support then I was entitled to. Why? Because I didn't want to put my ex-husband in the poor house. It was a mutually understood arangement where if the children needed more than I could afford he would give extra help. On the other hand, if he was going through a rough time and I could swing caring for the children on my own for a period of time, I gave him a break. We created the children together and we took mutual responsibility for the children. THAT is what a set of parents are suppose to do.

It was a partnership where neither one of us ever attempted to overrule the other. Even though I was the custodial parent he had the right to as much say in their lives as I did. Our marriage may have failed but we succeeded in raising some pretty tremendous kids. You could be so lucky.
