For the keyboard, disconnect it, and use a slightly damp cloth or some rubbing alcohol to clean it. You can use a toothbrush and alcohol for stubborn stains. Get a can of condensed air and use it to blow out between the keys.

The damp cloth and/or alcohol can also be used on the body of the monitor and CPU (the computer itself). Anything that is plastic.

For the monitor screen: if it is an older monitor with a glass display, use a damp cloth or any window cleaner. Clean it with the monitor turned off. Be careful not to use so much it leakins into the monitor case.

If it is a LCD flat panel, check at an electronic store/section. You will find some premade wipes you can purchase designed for clean such screen. While you can do it with water or alcohol, over time they will damage the screen. Better to pay $5 for some cleaners then $500 to replace the display a year from now.

To clean the monitor and glass, use a spray such as Screen Cleaner, available from Staples, Office Depot, and probably Wal-Mart. Do not spray directly on the monitor or glass, spray it on a soft cloth and wipe the hardware. It doesn't say it can be used on keyboards, but I've used the same method there. You can also pick it up, turn it upside down and shake it gently to remove small particles. To clean between the keys, I use Q-tips, LIGHTLY dampened with the solution and dry with another q-tip. Keyboards are known to harbor more germs than the bathroom!

Do NOT use just any glass cleaner, like Windex that contains ammonia.
