With this sort of industry, you have to be really careful.
Keep in mind of two things before you start;
What will your family think when they find out (and hey will)?
and
Do you really need the money that badly?
I'm not judging the porno industry, which one of us hasnt ever watched porn, be it alone, or with a partner? But the truth is, that its not a safe industry.
There are a lot of people that will promise you one thing, and make you do something else, what you think will be a simple normal thing could end up being some sort of 12 man gang bang.
You also have to be prepared with the idea that they might not offer protection, they might not be clean.
Also, the implications on your life after could be pretty traumatic. Being a porno star can give you a prostitutes complex, you are literally selling yourself for money, can you live with that comparrison? If your family finds out? If one day, your children see it?
If you know, not think, but KNOW its safe, if you can honestly trust the guy whos doing it, if you can live with the potential emotional implications of doing this, if you think your family will support you, than go for it. Why not, right? But my guess is that your hestitation is a sign that you might not want to, and i would suggest to stay away.
being a woman, were lucky in the sense that if whe dont have money, and were attractive enough, we can resort to those jobs, stripping, porno and etc, but why would we? Its degrading to men and women, and though can be a wonderful thing to watch, assuming its not really raunchy, its not something that i think you would want to persue for life. And chances are, $200 an hour isnt worth you selling your body.
Again, if youre ok with it, i support your desicion, just be careful what ever you do.

A couple things:
1. Are you comfortable having sex on film in front of strangers (film crew)
2. Do you care if everyone see you on film? Do you care waht the ripple effects my be for your future?
3. Is $200 an hour worth it for you to do this?
4. Are you willing to pursue a career having sex on film?
5. What will you do if pursue this path and then your film career ends? Will you set aside some of this money to invest in your future? (starting your own business, going to school, etc).
6. If you are going to pursue this route, why not start your own adult website featuring yourself, you can make money on subscribers, you can pick and choose who you want to have sex with, and this can be an ongoing thing to generate steady income for you if the film career stalls.
7. For better or worse, Porn industry, and porn stars are becoming more mainstream. Jenna Jameson is a prime example of someone who owns her own production company. Evan Stone has become a household name.
8. In Las Vegas, they have an Adult Entertainment convention during the same time as the Consumer Electronics Show. It is a big industry event. During the time, the industry has their own awards. You may want to go to Las Vegas and check out the convention, here you can talk to the porn stars themselves, get their advice and opinion.
These are just a few things to consider.

You've seen porn movies. For 200.00 an hour, they will ask you to do somethings that your are not comfortable with. Don't get caught up, because they will try to turn you out. Make sure you go over what they want and get it in writing and have a lawyer go over it. Be careful. If you look that good be a model with style.

Go to an adult video store and rent a XXX movie, you'll see what will be "expected" of you. $200 an hour wouldn't be enough for me. This could affect you for the rest of your life, and not in a good way.

XXX typically refers to graphic sex, so you would be expected to perform various sex acts on camera. The bottom line is that if you're considering it, discuss what you are willing to do and not willing to do with the director. If he's legit, he'll work with that. Aside from some mild persuasion, if anyone presses you beyond your limits, remember you are always free to walk away.

Why dont you work at a strip joint if you are so hot. You would make more money on tips and lap dances, plus you wouldnt have to do nasty things on film.

Hmmmmmmm
I've heard rumors that porn stars ask for a lot of money to star in flicks because once they make the flick, and it gets released. No matter how much the flick makes, they cannot get any of that money. For example: if you only get $1000.00 for being in it, and once it's released it makes like $300,000 you can't get any of that money........ I dunno......... that's a rumor i've heard. Look into it before you make a choice......
Have fun and be safe!
