If there is indisputable evidence that the abuse is indeed taking place. You should report the abuse. You could save the life of the child. Children are "accidentally" killed by abuse. At the very least, you would improve the life of the child by stopping the abuse.

It needs to be reported to the proper Child /Family Services in your community. If you are a member of any profession which works with children (medicine, education) you are legally obligated to do so.
