Oh yeah, our tree went up Sunday after Thanksgiving. We leave it bare for about a week to let the dogs in the house get used to the tree and all the lights, then my daughter puts the ornaments on after we are sure that they won't damage the tree in any way. It takes a few days to remind the dogs that they're not to touch the tree or any other decorations throughout the house. They've gotten used to it all by now so our house looks very festive! Happy Holidays!

No surely not! Call me old fashioned but I don't agree with putting any decorations up before the 12 days of Christmas start. Same goes for giving out cards and presents too.
Some retail stores had Santa arriving in November this year! What's going on??!?!

Hi, Yes, finished it 5 minutes ago, it looks great. If you dont put it up until the day before Christmas, and take it down on 6th January it is not really worth the effort, and it is so cheerfull on these short dark days.

No. But the outside of the house is all done. Some decorations inside. My kids are grown and not a grand baby in sight. So I probably won't put one up.

Yep, did it on Sunday. Don't normally do it so early but couln't resist all the lights and baubles I got for it. It's a real one in a pot so I can plant it out and enjoy it in my garden for ever - and soak up a little bit of greenhouse gas
