Well you are making yourself a target by saying 'should women be allowed to vote'
For years and years, women were oppressed in society, it was legal for a man to beat his wife even. Women get paid badly compared to men, and generally a women's rights were grossly not recognised.
these days things have improved, woman DID get the vote which is a step in the right direction, and there here you are questioning whether or not women should be allowed to vote.
People are assuming, maybe you think they shouldn't be allowed, because anyone else wouldn't ask such a question!!!
Or maybe you live in a country where women aren't allowed to vote? I don't know.
Maybe you would get a better response if you explained yourself a bit more, like saying what country you're from or that you have a different culture etc, because a lot of people WILL assume that you are american and just being sexist or racist.
