I don't think that there really is an "IN" color established in or by the fashion world.
I think it comes down to each persons perception as to what they feel is more appealing.
Look at stars like Lindsey Lohan---her hair has been every color in the book as of late!
And also, hair care product lines are now creating special products intended for all ranges of Natural hair color. And Dove is running that whole "every girl is beautiful" ad-campaign...and do you remember the commercial they had where EVERY woman was wearing a blonde wig and then they tossed them off at the end???
I am so GLAD that FINALLY we are not being made to feel that if our hair is not "one certain color", then we are out of the loop.
I have coal-black hair and I HAVE never, nor WILL I ever dye my hair blonde (or any other color)....I don't care if I'd be the ONLY one out there w/black hair, at least it's actually ME.

It's "IN" if you are a natural blonde. It's not if you are a bottle blonde.
