I know on sprint we have a locator which enables the police to track our movements or other people as they say, i know i can add gps to my service to tell where i am or what not. What i want to know is there a program where you enter a cell phone number and it can tell you the area where (or tower so its range) that it last used? i dont want their info like addy,name, just where they are?

No, this information is obviously private and will not be disclosed to you unless the other party has specifically opted in.

GPS is not required in the handset. The cell towers can work out roughly where you are using triangulation

Creepy thing to do. I hope it's not possible to do this...but I doubt any cell phone company would give you that information.

The SIM company can tell you where the SIM is located.Ask them to help you.
