Being and practicing Catholicism are 2 different things

I am not sure what you mean by deprived of life's pleasantries. I am a Catholic, but certainly I am not deprived of anything. I am free to come and go as I choose, I have a family, I have fun, and I think that I am a good Catholic person. I try to live a good, christian life. I go to church, I sing in the choir, I read books, I go on the internet, I have fun.. I am far from perfect but I certainly am not deprived of a single thing. God takes care of all of my needs.

If they say no then they aren't 100% Catholic. Just like there are Muslims in Philly who are five-percenters, meaning they really only follow about 5 percent of the Muslim religion. I say why be something if you only want to follow part of the rules? I'm a Christian and I guess I'm around 99% because I go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday.
