Real happiness for me is about just being.
it's about the simple things in life.
The happy wag of a dogs tail, a smile from a stranger, the sound of waves crashing on a beach, the break of a sunrise, a beautiful song that clutches at your heart.
It is a feeling of calmness, a feeling that all is well in the world, that there are no drama's or disasters.
It is feeling connected to all other humans and creatures, as well as to everything in nature.
It is knowing we are all one.
Yay, I feel all blissed out now :)

Ya got me at a good time here. I just got out of the hospital. Bad back from a 6 year old injury. Happened when I was tough and strong as a rock. A baby on the way I did the right thing. Maried broke but got a good job and in just 5 years paid off `1 grand in debt, plus bought a new house and was able to payoff another 35 grand worth of fixerups. Man, I was on a Mountain whrn I fell from that ladder. I went from my bosses best friend to a number in one day. I was looking at loosing everything and in a way, still am. I hold on the best I can. I stay at home with my kids and do the laundry and cook. I don't have the cash any more cause I only get workers comp and they gave it to me at an apprentice rate. I am a union electrician, I made over 50 an hour with bennies and on the weekends I could clean up. Maybe it was Gods way of trying to tell me spend more time with my fanily. Well I have learned that lesson, I worriship them, and I mean it, I give myselfdad and husband of the year. I do what I gotta do, pain or no pain. Somtimes it gets real bad like now but I know I will beat it again. But I guess I am stilll Human. I want to give my family more, Take them out to eat or buy them a toy, I can't remember the last time I bought new shoes. My in-laws help, but holdit over our heads and make me feel like ****. Last week I went to get some tree trimimng stuff from the store and stole my son a train.. How bad is that? I fell like **** about it, but his smile eases my guilt and I've been screwed my so many doc's' lawyers, etc.. who gives a care. Yep, it is my family, the good, the bad , and the ugly. Funny thing is, is that it is mostly just beautiful. I may have a pic on my 360 if ya click it. My daughter is beautiful and talented, my son is 100% boy who is chisled i=and is gonna break some hearts. He is strong, smart, funny, and good, none of that add stuff he is just down right good. Last year he gave his crane money to the Salvation army man, can you imagine that? 4 years old at the time. 6 years ago I spent hours a day with a shotgun ready to blow my head off, sad, isn't it, now I am stealing and even thinking of selling my pain pills for Christmas presents. Maybe what I really need to do is get back to God? They are my happines, my tears, my worries, my thoughts, my everything. Sure I go fishing once in a while and I like to go to an ocassional Grateful Dead type concert for my lil peice of mind. I get free tickests and gas cause I am the Designated driver.. My wife, she is beautiful and stronger than I give her credit for at times but she missunderstands the in-law thing.. You should see how afraid of her mom she is. She found out about her period by finding a box of pads on her bed... Lots of comunication there>>>???!!!!lol Thanks for listening. This is going to sound boring as it has been said before, but it is true for me !
Having the basics!
Your health
A good friend
Someone that loves you and that you love
Food and a warm home
Money to pay the bills
Being able to be a blessing to others in need
Some will say money money money, but if you have no real friend and you have poor health money cant help you much!

Apart from the absolute joy of being blessed with two gorgeous children......
I recently had something of an epiphany - I've figured out why I'm here. So now I can stop wasting time and get on with doing it.
