Whether it is 2 or 50 years age difference what is more important is understanding between the two. Age hardly makes any difference if they don't understand each other.

Age becomes a state of mind--nothing magical----just a matter of fitting in with each other. What would an 18 year old do with a 40 year old? Whatever it is it won't be for long----25 and 35---maybe but not much better, usually it's money or looks for one or the other. 50 and 60 ---no problem. What works today might not work in 5 years......get a grip, enjoy your youth, find a RESPECTFUL partner close to your age----are you thinking about a 40 year old at the prom? Or a 40 year old at the beach---with the gut and bad hair piece---makes me laugh. Will you drive him to the dentist for teeth replacement in a couple of years----oh sure not him---that's what they all say. And what if someone asks if he's your father---- isn't that nice. What happens when you reach 24 or 25---is he looking for another 18 year old.

There's no healthy age difference. It depends on the person. My husband and I have an 14 year difference and it works for us. Some like someone a little closer to their age, some like older and some like younger. It all depends on the people in the relationship. Loves doesn't follow numbers.

Girl > 18 & Boy > 21; age diffrence around 3 years

Ideally it should be 3 to 5 years. I mean the girl should be 3 to 5 years younger than the guy. This is because women are in general more mature than men, this gap is ideal.

Married people are married.
But in case of arranged marriage it use to be minimum 2 years, maximum 7 years, boy older then woman.
This was based on emotional maturity issues and earning capacity........

but for me theres a 7 an half year gap and its perfect
