my 14 yr old son is refusing to have his santa photo taken this year with his younger siblings have i lost the battle ??????????

14 is a tough age for a boy. He's starting to want to act more grown up. He's probably afraid that someone from school might see him sitting in Santa's lap. I'm afraid you may have lost the battle this year. I wouldn't force it on him. I don't think you're ever too old to get a Santa photo taken but at 14 it could be humiliating!

Personally I don't think there is any age. Older kids can just stand at the side.

But if your son is really having a big tantrum about it and you can't be bothered with the hassle of forcing him, let it go. Just get the picture with your younger ones.

Just make sure you remind him what a pain in the butt he was, when he has kids and they refuse to pose with Santa!

no you have not losted the battle i am 17 and i have a younger brother who is 7 and he still believes in Santa i would tell him if you love your brother you would do it for him!

Don't give up on him KEEP ON TRYING

Yes, I think so. He wants to be taken seriously as a teenager and young man and although it would be a cute family photo you may want to consider a new venue/backdrop for your Xmas pictures?
