ive just read in the sun newspaper that they want to ban christmas decorations because it upsets muslims, why dont they just go back home and leave us alone?

let them idiots go home!i will decorate my house for christmas,i will publicly worship my God,i will not be politically correct because we are gaurenteed free speech in our constitution,i am proud of my race,my God ,and my country,and any sorry a-s whiney foreigner who is offended can kiss my red white and blue behind!we dont want muslims here anyway,there just setting up cells so they can attack us when they are ready,why make them comfortable.if this country ever gets sorry enough to let terrorists tell us we have to ban God or christmas i will leave and give up my citizenship forever! so tell them pricks.."SORRY ABOUT YOUR LUCK!!!THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED ON GOD AND WILL REMAIN SO TILL THE END OF TIME,,IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!!!!!havent we given them enough?

Stop believing everything you read in the Sun!
Only last week the Muslim Council of Britain's spokesperson stated that muslims living in this country (whether they were born here or not) have absolutely no objection to Christmas lights.
Just because it says it in the Sun doesn't make it true, Try reading a real newspaper and maybe you'll get a more balanced view of life.

i know Muslims and the are not offended and your comment about they should go home is offencive. the could be living in "your" country for generations maybe even longer than your family. if you believe everything you read you are a very sad person and also the type of loony who keeps stirring the pot making trouble for others. also you should remember that you and your society find some Muslim things offencive if you didn't there would not be teachers getting suspended for wearing barkas and barristers been asked to remove their in court.
Muslims are not responsible for everything bad in the world look at the UK before you blame them look at how much murder,pain and distress they have handed down through the years.SOME of you self righteous Brits make the rest of the world sick it is a good job not all Brits are a daft as you and your type

Well what do you expect if you read the Sun newspaper. No! but this is yet another example of political correctness gone mad. I dont agree with this kind of thinking either, because where will it end if taken to its logical conclusions.
Your lucky because you live in a reasonably free democratic country and atleast you can voice your own opinions about this without fear for you very life or for fear of being put in a prison cell or being tortured.

The last I heard the Muslim Council of Britain was calling for *an end to the ban* on Christmas decorations!!! Muslims *never asked* for Councils etc to stop putting up decorations they did it out of some overblown sense of PC b*ll*cks

first of all the sun! really not a reliable source unless you want a completely one sided view of a matter.
i doubt muslims are offended probably more a health & safety excuse, to hide the real cause
1. businesses and councils save money on decorations.
2. probably an BNP member trying to stir it up, by banning decorations and claiming that it might offend muslims with no complaint to actually back up what they say

I think 'MattieP' has it right, no Muslim would object to Xmas decorations! And you quote your source as the Sun newspaper?
Need I say more? The sun newspaper is just as reliable for 'facts'
as the bible! or any other Holy book, Work that out.

Well in our town that is total rubbish, we have decorations and lights for Eid and no one objects to them and when we put our decorations up not one Muslim in our town objects to it, most of the Muslims in our town celebrate our Christmas too, when the lights get switched on in our town for Christmas, there are as many Muslims as white people standing around to watch, the PC brigade are the only ones who object to it, they are the ones causing the unrest in our country, not the Muslims.

I don't want to ban Christmas decorations, in actual fact I fully support the use of them all year round and I think legislation should be implemented in order to force people to put up at least one lit up Santa in their window, or an angel, whichever takes your fancy. Those who fail to do so will receive a hefty fine where the money will then be used to give aid to those who can not afford to put up lights. Also, we should be sending aid to those countries who can not afford to put tinsel in their window, as this, in my opinion is much more important than ensuring that they are well fed and warm.

i agree! i have nothing against muslims (and i don't think many others do) but the uk is a christian country and im sure if christians who were living in a muslim country tried to ban so many muslim traditions they would be sent back to their country.
its absolutely ridiculous that a christian cant even wear a cross IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY yet muslims can wear whatever they want. and i dont believe that thing about Christmas decorations...ARRRRGH!

Any day now the Muslims will be upset that there are Crosses on the Union Flag! and Demand them to be removed! And How about the American flag? No crosses there but it will be a symbol of hate so it will have to come down as well! Welcome to the 11th Crusade.
PS IT is a crime to celebrate xmas in SAudi Arabia!!! celebrate go to jail!
