No you don't deserve such a destiny, but perhaps if you continue giving respect, chances are that someone will return the gesture

It seem you do not master the art of giving. If you have an honest heart in giving things, such as kindness, respect, help etc.., you should give it with joy with the intention the receiver of your gift is happy and at the moment you did you happy already. What they do to you it does not matters. Does not it that simple? Respect can only be given and can not be asked.

Why are you saying "such destiny"?, you should think of it as situations, and other people views to you, it's not a destiny.
I think if you loved others and helped without waiting for something, you will force most people to respect you, for minority who hate everybody, it's their problem.

No, you don't. Everybody deserves respect, just like everbody must show respect. So, if someone doesn't respect you, don't blame yourself and move on. They're the ones acting bad, not you, however, since you can't force people to do what they don't feel like doing, or teach them to behave according to values they don't obviously have, just move on, forget abot it; the world is full of possibilities and good people!

If you have the respect of the people important in your life you are ok. The others are nothing to worry about

We live in a crazy world today, people who try to defend people without voices like innocent unborn babies, and a sick woman whose unfaithful husband wants them dead get looked down on,
And people who want to save the lives of mass murders are respected. I am proud to be counted as one of the people who are looked down on. Saddam killed a million of his own people and people like Saddam more then the man who took him out of power. Disrespect me all you want. The more I am disrespected the prouder I am.

I don't recommend bringing the 'why me?' thing into this debate. It happens to all of us. Probably all you did was disagree or show a different point of view to those people. Don't sweat it - they're not that important.
