Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo, in Thailand

Locate 10 kilometres from Bangkok is the world largest crocodile farm founded in1950 by the famous crocodile king Mr. Utai Yongprapakorn. He has been the pioneer not only to preserve the endangered species from extinction, but also to provide the continuing flow of crocodile skins and related products to the world market. There are over 100,000 crocodiles adopted in the farm. From eggs, hatch, baby crocodiles, yong crocodiles, adult crocodiles which can lay eggs again, then the old crocodiles. There are more than 100 ponds where grow the crocodiles.

At the farm you will experience the thirilling world famous " Crocodile Wresting" where the audiences are invited to participate.

You can shop crocodile leather or fish skin leather products such as bags, handbags, wallet, belts and other with your pleasure here.

The guinness book of records largest captive crocodile is also here. The largest crocodile ever held in captivity is an Estuarine/Siamese hybrid nameed "Yai" (borned June10, 1972). It is measured 19 feet 8 inches length with weight 2465 lbs.
