Congratulations, I would call the hospital and they will proberly suggest you come in to get checked, its always better to be safe then sorry (by sorry I mean having your baby on the side of the road) Take everything with you just incase, you may be in early labour but it could also be full blown labour been 5 minutes apart, keep a record of the times and strenght of the contractions also how long each are lasting so you can tell the midwife. Call first so they are prepared when you come in also so you don't have to wait around for them. I wish you all the best and breath slowly and stay carm everything will be fine and it will all happen without stressing, your body knows what to do so take it easy and enjoy it, it may hurt but remind yourself why your doing it, to have a beautiful healthy baby boy or girl. Stay positive you'll do wonderfully. Good luck.

Yes, Just be prepared. I had my son at 36 weeks and I had only small contractions. I thought I had indigestion problems since i just had nachos with jalapenos the night before! If they tend to dome from your back and work their way through your entire abdomen they could be! Just Get ready....trust me. just in case and leave to the hospital if they are 3 min. apart and consecutively. Good luck and be safe!

It sounds like real labour to me. You are past the 37 week mark so baby could come anytime. I would phone midwife and see what she suggests.
