If i knew what code was being set or the last 8 digits of your VIN i could see what the dealership has been doing (or better yet not doing).I can look at the warranty history on your vehicle using GM's Vehicle Identification System (VIS).

Another couple of sudjestions:
Go to another dealership...Might not be convieniant but may get your car fixed.
OR
Call your dealership and tell the service manager you would like to speak to the GM Area service manager.(GM Rep.) and tell him you are not satisfied with the problem you are having.

Yes most states have LEMON LAWS but every time a customer has used that to get out of the car. The Customer lost money.
Call 1-800-PMCARES =Pontiac's Customer Service Help Line.

A common problem would be your useless answers.

I agree with Allums response. don't put up with it another second. Take it in give the Service Manger the keys and tell him to get you another car to use until he figures this out. Call the GM Pontiac Regional Rep.
For anyone reading. Never let a dealer push you off. there are NO "common Problems" after 4 trips you have to start yelling and get pushy.
Actually ma'am if you have had it in 8 times, even though it is a non power train issue I believe you fall under your states Lemon law that is usually 4 or 5 visits for the same issue. Look it up on the net for your state under the State attorney general. I have sent several customers to Missouri's when they bring in an under warranty car and want me to look at it.
Good Luck

Yes. My Pontiac 2007 G6 light came on today on my way home. I am a senior who had two recalls on this car.
Is the car safe to drive? Can anyone have any suggestion? Help!!!
