George H. W. Bush cried because his son, President George W. Bush, has sealed the polical legacy of this generation of the Bush family. In so doing, he ended Jeb Bush's chances of becoming president.

I think he sees the end of the Bush political dyanasty. Jr has so screwed the pooch that Americans won't ever trust another Bush with so much political power. If Jeb had not failed in an attempt at governor, he would be in Jr's place now. What the Bushs were trying to do was create a famly dynasty of presidents and his son has managed to break the presidency Bush Sr. gave him.
I see it as karma.

He's a loving father who got very emotional speaking about one of his sons after having had to listen to all of the obscene and unwarranted bashing that his other son is taking from the loopy lefties.
