The length of the rectangular field (pitch) specified for international adult matches is in the range 100-110 metres (110-120 yd) and the width is in the range 65-75 metres (70-80 yd). Fields for non-international matches may be 100-130 yards length and 50-100 yards in width, provided that the pitch does not become square. The longer boundary lines are touchlines or sidelines, while the shorter boundaries (on which the goals are placed) are goal lines. On the goal line at each end of the field a rectangular goal is centred. The inner edges of the vertical goal posts must be 8 yards (7.32 m) apart, and the lower edge of the horizontal crossbar supported by the goal posts must be 8 feet (2.44 m) above the ground. Nets are usually placed behind the goal, but are not required by the Laws.

This is not a simple qestion.
in Youth football, the size of the pitch depends on the age of the children playing.
mini soccerr, for under 7 yr olds and under 8 yr olds se a pitch which is between 30 and 50 yards long, by 220 to 30 yards wide.
the Mini Soccer pitch for the U9 AND U10 yr old teams is bewen 50 and 60 yards long by 30 to 40 yards wide.
Youth Soccer, 11 to 12 yr olds use a 80 to 60 yard long pitch which is 55 to 45 yards wide.
Youth Soccer, 13 to 14 yr olds use a 80 to 70 yard long pitch which is 60 to 45 yards wide.
Youth Soccer, 15 to 16 yr olds use a 90 to 75 yard long pitch which is 60 to 45 yards wide.
Youth U17-U18 & Senior ages use a 130 to 100 yard long pitch which is 100 to 50 yards wide.
So not all pitches are the same size. The length of a pitch must be between 100 yards (90m) and 130 yards (120m) and the width not less than 50 yards (45m) and not more than 100 yards (90m).
And what about where most of the action happens - the penalty box? It is also known as the 18-yard-box, with the smaller area - marked out inside it - called the six-yard-box.
This is where some of the world's best strikers earn their living.
And for all you penalty takers - or savers - out there, the most famous spot in football sits 12 yards (11m) from goal.
Last, but not least, that wooden thing at each end of the pitch they call the goal.
Think you know how big it is? It's eight feet high (2.44m) and eight yards wide (7.32m).
That for football, of course it depends on what type of football? Australian Rules Football - The field is oval shaped like in cricket. The ideal size of the pitch is 165m x 135m.
In Rugby Union footbal, the pitch size, in Mini Tag, is a maximum size of 70m by 30m but can be

you seem to have your answer its a pity fifa dont regulate it so you don't get teams under preforming away from home. biggest example is highbury was a narrow pitch. the emirates is a wide pitch. not home yet.
