If the world was an illusion all of us would be both part of it and contributing to it. Like a sacred dream, where everyone has feelings. Even though what we see may be fake, feelings we have to care, love, laugh, cry are all real. Like the saying "the heart sees what the eyes cannot" The heart is inside of you, not blinded by the world of illusion, deception, glamour, looks, which your eyes go through and see. Our hearts can be compared with a fragile glass vase, everytime we get hurt it leaves a scar, everytime it shatter we can build and glue it back, but the scars others have caused will always remain there never dissapearing, it is those scars that make us learn, we learn from others. So therefore without other people being part and contributing to this illusion, this illusion can never fool a person. hope that made sense.

If one helps one get out of the illusion then they are not of this Illusion. We can be in the material world but not of it. It is a simple process of chanting the Maha Mantra or the Great Mantra for deliverance (deliverance from illusion and misery. This mantra is on the Absolute platform and is beyond the material world. go to krishnaculture. for complete knowledge on karma, reincarnation, illusion, reality etc. learn about the maha mantra and how to become free from illusion

The illusion is that we believe we are separate an apart from God. This dream we live in is a joint adventure in mass hypnosis. Wake up to your on divinity, take your place in this great display of God. "God dwells within you as you." All things are but a very sophisticated holographic display of Gods vision of himself. We have union with God in unconditional love within the heart.,Go there & experience "THAT". Karma, your actions in thought, word and deed create your life circumstances & destiny. Choose carefully the thoughts you accept, the words you say,& the acts you perform.

I guess you mean: do we have an erroneous perception of reality?
I say sometimes. And that we don't ever have the whole picture. To expensive in metabolical terms.
