some persons claim that they are capable for true love. However, when they are insulted from their lover, they change their minds and appear as rude and selfish. Are such persons that cannot forgive capable of true love?

Alek you have a lovely way of putting things and I hear your pain. I sounds like you have truly been through some sort of trauma. love and forgiveness go hand in hand forgive yourself forgive your lover. Pain can make a person do a lot of things they would never do. If it is real love will find a way.

I think everyone is capable of true love but for some once they have been hurt by their lover it is hard for them to get past that hurt even though they love their lover but in order to be in true love you first must let go of all your past burdens no matter how hard that may seem because untill you do you will never be happy/inlove to thge fullest of you ability

I like to call it a come coma. That delightful few moments of anaesthetised euphoria where nothing matters but the moment. Then of course, people get distracted... that sweaty sticky gel that holds two lovers together starts to feel a little uncomfortable and other matters capture the imagination. I'm all for celebrating the opportunity. Hugs Gaz

There is more here huh? Yes love and hate(unforgiveness) are the different parts of love. Indifference is the opposite of love.

If you hurt him that bad and are unwilling to express a sincere apology, your love is in question. But if you really gave it, understanding that deeper issues in his life might be at play and your not finding forgiveness, leave.

They may be capable but are being held back by their hurt and anger. Until they are fully able to let go of their insecurities, hurt, anger and loss they will never experience the true love they are capable of.

They are only capable of driving friends and lovers away or crazy--either one says that the person lacks maturity and YOU need to move on. Really---not that hard to figure out. Rude and selfish---spells trouble to me.....no one can change him----he needs to change himself---don't waste your time----you'll only regret it.
