I have made many mistakes in my life. Therefore I have lost many lovers and friends. I know that I should be forgiven more than I have to ask for forgiveness and so I ask you, my friends, to tell me:
when I know that almost all of my failures were my own mistakes, should I forgive in the name of love?

No matter what the offense, no matter how major the damage inflicted, nothing is more powerful than forgiveness in allowing us to go on.

May your life be full of love & light.

Forgive, give yourself permission to move on and then do so with the knowledge of your mistakes, learn the lessons they were meant to teach you so they do not carry over and follow you into the future.

Then be open to all the future will bring your way having cast off your guilt, baggage and scars of the past. Only then can you move forward with your life and be ready to accept the love you desire and deserve.

Good luck!

i don't know what religion you are, but the Bible says you should always forgive.
God is forgiving and will forgive you all your sins if you ask Him to. Why?? Because he loves us!!!

Therefore love conquers all, and forgiveness should always be given.

I too have made many mistakes in life, I lost the 3 things most precious to me, my family, thanx to those mistakes. But thanx to the power of love and forgiveness I got them back!
I truly believe in the power of Love and Forgiveness!!!

if you know that almost all the failure were your own then ask the ones that you failed for forgiveness. and forgive those that did wrong to you. life is to short to hold on to mistake learn to forgive and live one with your life.

p.s my personal life: when my mother was in her death bed she asked me to forgive all that had done us wrong so i pro missed her but never done it. so when i thought that i was ready to forgive them all ( alot of people) i went and i told them all in there face's how i was hurt and hated most for the things that they did to my mother and family so like i promised i did forgive them and i felt BETTER . forgiving any one has to be on your terms.

good luck!

Gosh isn't that some kind of rule you have to forgive yourself. If you find that hard ask God to forgive you. He/She finds it easy to forgive you any mistake and start over.

To err is human, to forgive is divine; but revenge is sweet and getting even is better.
