Whenever I tell friends that I like this site, they look at me sadly, like I am some kind of saddo. Does that mean we are all saddos? Do you think we should start a Saddo Yahoo Answers Society (SYAS)

I think many kinds of people are attracted to this kind of site. Some are attention seekers looking to show how funny or smart they are. Some are competitive people who want to see how many best answers they can get or how high a level they can obtain. Some what to see if they can upset others and cause some kind of war of words just to stir the pot. Some are racists who want to spread their hate. Some are trying to spread messages (good and bad) of their beliefs and some are advertising things directly or indirectly.
There are many kind and intelligent people who play here, but sadly many idiots as well. The ones I wish would stop playing here are the ones who always want to be racists and those who want to bash Americans (get a hobby and stop being so jealous).
I don't think people who use Yahoo Answers are "saddos".

Well--there seem to an awful lot of saddos. Maybe there are quite a few closet saddos.

Only those that infiltrate the site with meaningless/pointless/derogatory questions. Afterall, the main point of this site is to get answers, however, more and more 'saddo's' are ruining it for the genuine answer seekers.

i tell people and they look atme sadly too... but others who do use it say they enjoy it and its very interesting and it has a lot of info... whenever i hav a question on m mind i come here... but the funny thing is the word saddo... lol... where did that word come from??

i dont think we are saddos we are getting answers to our questions and helping others with theirs it dose not matter what other people think as long as you enjoy yourself who cares what they think maybe they are the saddos lol

hey i like this site. i have had some questions answered on this site about cooking, relationships etc. i think it is a good place to learn about certain things and get answers without having to put yourself out there and talk to someone who may judge you too quickly or tell your business. i can come on this site and ask any question i want and do it in an anonymous way. or i can answer questions that i may have knowledge about in my field of study to help others. so i think it is a good site. who cares whatever they say!! I simply love hanging around with Y! Answers. I like sharing knowledge whatever I have and gain knowledge from others. A kind of interesting interaction - this Y! Answers is. I would be happy to see my answer being chosen as best answer, and encourage me to answer some more quality question. Thats why I play on it. I don't really care whatever people says about this. I am myself and I do whatever I like.
