i am a student at college of languages, third year. In Drama we study a play called (The Shoemaker's Holiday) by (Thomas Dekker), and the play is very difficult if anyone have a summarize of the play in a short story or a video film about the play i will be very thankful....

Yes, it's when all the shoemakers celebrate the day that the heel was invented. Before that, everyone walked around on their tippy toes so as not to injure their delicate feet. Augustus Heelio came up with the idea of padding the heel with extra cat hide (it's what they used back then when dead human skin was in short supply) and the other shoemakers laughed at him. Augustus developed a high powered blow dart gun and killed them all, and that is why we celebrate this wonderful holiday.

The Shoemaker's Holiday is an Elizabethan play written by Thomas Dekker. It was first performed in 1599 by the Admiral's Men.

The play tells the story of Simon Eyre (the shoemaker of the title), who rises through the social ranks to eventually become Lord Mayor of London. It is a patriotic play that celebrates the mutual dependence of the Monarch and the city of London, yet is also aware of class differences and social tensions.
