When someone blows out a lot of air, is that a signal that they're embarassed? For example, if someone snubs you, would you blow out air because you are embarassed, or what emotion does blowing air out display?

I guess usually suprise or shock.... it's a mechanism for calming yourself down, so it would probably convey some kind of release of anxiety. When people say 'phew' it's kind of the same thing, but that's out relief.

frustration, being unsure of yourself, very rarely does it mean embarrassment, could be that the person is trying to control their anger...from being blown off/snubbed.
