what will come out if you cross dog and wolf?

i gave as a gift a male puppy of german buldog to my friend . i visited him in 2 years i saw it with 2 wolves in a cage. wolves grew up with him at the same time .they were really friendly . friend of mine told me other dogs cannot get alone with them.

They breed just fine and the resultant pups look exactly as you'd expect: a bit like the dog parent and a bit like the wolf parent.

Just a word of caution though: if you're considering such a thing for a pet, DON'T! Wolves are not dogs. They do not make good pets! Dogs have been bred over millenia tio make good companions for man. Wolves have evolved without mans interference and have evolved to become good hunting machines. A "tame" wolf is nothing like a dog. He will NOT protect your home and is quite likely to turn on you if you ever show a moment of weakness. I know: I have a friend that runs a wolf sanctuary. They have to pick up on all the wolves and half-wolves that idiots thought they could keep as pets and then found they were totally unmanageable.

Depends on the dog you cross the wolf with (chihuahua and wolf - the mind boggles!). But in the US you can buy wolf and husky crossbreeds, and was only brought to public attention because one of the crossbreeds killed a child.
