I have 2 medium Koi about 9 inches in length in a tank with my angel fish and my blue discus. They have never tried to attack any of my other fish they just swim around lazily and look so happy.Down fall is they are food crazy. Make sure if you put them into your tank with other fish make sure your other fish are getting enough to eat. The Koi are very greedy when it comes to there food and hog all the food you put into your tank. Best thing I find is feed them first and as there at the top of the tank feeding feed your other fish at the other end of the tank. Has worked for me for several years with no deaths.

No! Infact Koi are peaceful fish.
they coexist with most other fish. Gold fish, Mollies, Minnows (Make sure they arent too small lest they get eaten), cat fish, Mosquito fish etc.. are a good bet!
