I do wish the best for your grandaughter and without trying to be pessimistic think of all the **** she will have to put up with like school, exams, bullying (possibly), and just the pressure of everyday life. its these things that should be prevented because lets face it the world isn't getting any sweeter. I'm always amazed at how we adapt to our society. We live in hope and provided we do the best we can for our children, then we have a better chance than most of having a happy life. We all worry about our children. You're not alone. However, most kids make it to the next generation. We all have problems, so will your granddaughter. I'm sure she will learn how to cope with the future and I'm sure you will do your best to make her life easier and to guide it.
