Nerd: an intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit: a computer nerd.
Geek: an enthusiast or expert especially in a technological field or activity
The difference between the terms "geek" and "nerd" are widely disputed, as the latter might be identified as someone who is unusually intelligent, and the former as someone who has an eccentric interest towards a certain category or topic.

Nerds are people with usually bad skin, wear coke bottle glasses with tape on them, aren't terribly bright, rarely take baths, rarely change their clothes and love to watch Happy Days, espeically when Potsie sings. They usually don't really know that they are smelly, have zits, dress poorly, and are annoying. They can't help but notice that no one likes to be near them and they often are beat up or threatened to be beat up. They generally have no value to anyone, including themselves. They often wet the bed until late into their teens. They hang around each other, since they are the only ones who can stand themselves. They usually grow up to be outcasts of society.
Geeks are much more intelligent, usually wear pocket protectors, are geniouses when it comes to solving computer problems, hacking computers, everything computer, they are really good at. They bathe more often, change clothes more often, but their taste in clothes is very unatractive. They are aware of the fact that they are not attractive to women, and are embarassments to guys that are near them. They sometimes care, but don't care enough to do much more than maybe comb their hair different once in a while. They usually put acne formulas on their pimples, but it rarely works. They are all secretly proud to be geeks, because they all feel that they have a shot at being the next Bill Gates, who used to be a geek. But, they won't. Sorry group they are, sorrier are the nerds, sorry the geeks.

Nerds are smart but can be cool. Geeks are smart, proficient in technological affairs,but are often somewhat socially inept and
awkward.
