How come no other nationalities deragatory racial portrayals end with "trash"? "Trash" is just such a dirty, stinky word.

No person is "Trash" even if they're looked upon as being so. People who live in trailers are called "Trailer park trash". Homeless people, who were unfortunate enough to become that way, are called trash. The ones who pass judgement on people that are'nt rich, beautiful,or smell like roses, are the ones closest to being "trash"

Thank God someone feels the same way I do! I've always wondered about this. Apparently being white and poor with supposedly bad manners and low moral principles is what 'qualifies' a person as "white trash"... I hate the term. It gives the impression that whites are so 'holier than thou' that those of us who don't fit the stereotype must be classified separately.
