I;m a female and I have hair as much as a male, but it doesn't matter to me, so I do not shave it. I just want to know is my idea about hair similar to a man? my parents says it's unatural that I love my hair.what is your idea about that?

Both men and women have body hair, but men naturally have more. The act of females shaving their body hair is an attempt to accentuate the contrast between male and female by making sure they are less hairy than the men. I think shaving is more prevalent in societies (like the U.S.) where women have economic and social equality, because the women need something that still makes them womanly and unman-like. Guys have gotten use to seeing women with hair in only two spots (head and pubes) and nowhere else.

Most men don't shave body hair because being hairier then women is a natural physical trait that defines them as more masculine and not a female. Some men do adopt a "Metro Sexual" attutude and (like most women) shave, trim, and wax their body hair to have a more clean looking appearance.

I think most guys can handle some body hair on their girl. There will be times when girls get sick, injured, or pregnant and unable (or unwilling) to shave because it would be too difficult.

It's not unnatural for you to be comfortable with your body hair, technically that's how you're supposed to look. There are some guys that prefer hairy women (there are websites dedicated strictly to showing hairy girls) and most can tolerate periods of hairiness (like I mentioned above), but most guys prefer that women shave, trim, wax, or do what ever else it takes to stay less hairy than men.

I think as long as your hair growth isn't heavy and noticable on the face, back, and chest (the locations where males are supposed to have growth) you should be feminine enough for most decent guys. If a guy really likes you and the relationship has plenty of trust, understanding, affection, and sex he will either like your body hair or accept you as you are and get used to it.

Your NOT strange for being comfortable with your body hair, and guys are NOT strange for liking girls with body hair. Its just that society had become so use to women being without body hair, that it SEEMS unnatural for them not to shave, trim, and wax to get rid of it.

You are assuming that everyone shares your taste in appearance. Incorrect. I am a woman, and I think men with their body hair removed look dreadful and asexual - like a plastic Ken doll. Hair is sexy - why should anyone shave because of your twisted ideas of what looks good. I think most women prefer natural men.

Many guys wax their bodies because shaving is time consuming, messy and a little dangerous. Personally, I don't wax or shave my body; I do keep my pubes trimmed very closely but I let my legs and chest alone. I happen to like having hair on my body, and since no one else sees me naked, why should I change?

Who are you to pass judgement? Who are to tell the rest of the males how to trim body hair and that they should? To most of us it doesnt matter. Doesnt sound like a guy asking this question anyways. Pi$$ off

Physical apperance is irrelevant; we have little to no control over it. It is a rotting carcass which eventually begins to fail on you.

People who put TOO MUCH attention on their physical apperance are usually shallow and materialistic and judge people by how they look rather than by who or what they really are.

Myself, by experience, the people who put too much attention to their physicial apperance are evil manipulative hypocrites who know folks judge others by their outside look, so they themselves work hard on their own looks to be able to more easilly fool people into thinking they are OK or decent people when in fact they are the most putrid, manipulative evil doers out there!

Cheers!

PS: I myself would love to shave my pubes but my wifey won't allow it!

Because we expect our brain and power to be given importance than the look.

Brain(brilliance), pocket (money/earning) and the influence in the society is more important for any male than his handsome look.

Only adolencents will concentrate on look.
