Dumbass questions are easier to answer - intelligent ones need some thinking and writing.

Defender of the Meek I thought your question "Would you ever be an organ donor?" was an intelligent question and it received 50 answers. Impressive. Unfortunately your question regarding SQL server only received 2, but usually computer buffs are tired of computer related issues at the end of a long work day, and opt for TV instead. I was surprised to see so little response (8 answers) to your unintelligent question "Can you get ketchup at the Mayo clinic?" I did however notice one of your questions received a whopping 127 answers, wow! You have 795 questions to date -- amazing.

Of course, I do not know your history of questions so I will assume that you do have a list of "intelligent" questions. The most probable answer would be that "intelligent" questions are harder to answer than "dumbass" questions. For example, it is easier to answer the question "How do you fry an egg?" than to answer the question "Are humans basically selfish or basically altruistic?"

Maybe you are not wording them like someone who needs an answer. Maybe you are wording them like someone who already has all the answers and wants to see how many dumbasses will get the right answer. Huh? Huh?

all answers above are correct. there are more dumbarses out there than intelligent ones. and those 'intelligents' are choosy with questions, they dont simply answer questions that they dont know the best answer. they want to get 10 points instead of 2 so they really careful when answering.

I wouldn't worry about that... some of my questions get over 30 answers, some just 3 or 4. It's the people's opinion that I care about, so any answer is good enough for me...
