Religion is just another way of interpreting differences of opinion. Intolerance of these differences is a major contributing factor to wars.

No, greed and power are the cause of most wars. Religion is often used/twisted to drum up support for wars out of greed / power, but not a reason themselves.
Think World War 1, World War 2, the Korean War, Vietnam War, and Gulf War 1 & 2 to name a few. None of these wars were caused by religion.

Wars are fought over, Money, power, religion, politics, borders, religion and oil. Take all those out of the equation and war is completley pointless. Well it is anyway.
Yes we should all unite and practice a thing called tolerance towards everything and everyone, or we will never survive as a race.

The goal of Christianity is to create a community, united, and where the needs of all people are met, so no hunger, and poverty becomes irrelevant as all is shared.

I do not believe religion is the cause; I believe greed and hatred are the causes, and religion the excuse given.
That said, yes, I believe we should all unite under God's banner, and study war no more.
Swords make great plowshares!

Yes. Anybody can create a religion in the name of their right to be individual, today everything is so PC that anarchy is something that will never be stopped. Just as the war on terror will never be stopped. If you are religious and believe in Pandora's Box then had that remain closed, would we be living in a free utopia ?

It's not about religion, religion is just the 'cause' by which greedy bodies of people recruit the weak minded supporters that carry out there evil plans.
We don't need to unite, just learn to not close our minds to those around us and the beliefs that they hold and refrain from imposing our opinions and beliefs upon them.

No. Religion is just an excuse to wage war and manipulate the masses. If there were no religion another excuse would be used.
