I now have Norton Securtiy and it's about to run out. Should I stay with Norton or go with Mcfee Securtiy?? Don't get me wrong, I haven't had any trouble out off Norton but I have heard Mcfee is better ... I was just wondering what you thought about this ...

well buddy go to cnet.com and read the review.. both of them makes system slow. neways the cnet's editor choice is kaspersky and pcmags best is trend micro i am using trend micro pc-cilin u can give it a try its like 100 times better than mcafee and norton and it costs 20 bucks less too

Neither. The best choice comes from a company called TrendMicro and the home pc protection software is PC-Cillin. It has everything. I have been using this stuff for over 5 years. Haven't been disappointed once. If you're in the market for new software check these guys out. They cost no more then norton or mcfee. (www.trendmicro.com) If you are still not convinced then my next choice would be Norton. I feel they do a better job and are more user friendly (for both advanced users and beginners) then mcfee.

Hi there,
According to latest virus protection figures, Norton comes out slightly ahead - protecting against circa 98% of known viruses compared to McAfee's 97%.
But this is just viruses. Taking into account all malware (spyware, adware, trojans, worms, etc) they are still very evenly matched, therefore it probably wouldn't make much difference in swapping?
If you are happy with Norton and it isn't slowing your machine then I see no reason to change.

HI Norton amd mcafee both are market leaders for internet security, so dont worry if you are using norton then going on if you dont have any problem with it.

I will suggest you to go for Mcafee.though norton is a reliable antivirus but Mcafee doesnt slows down your computer performance as compared to norton which is a heavy one for your computer RAM.

ezAntivirus is the best in my opinion, its nice,simple, doesn't take a lot of resources so your system is fast, and it works! if your not sure of what i'm saying go to cnet they gave it a really high rating. you can also read the comments.But if your only option is those two, stay w/ Norton
