People don't seem to understand how a game that goes for 5 days and ends in a draw can be so exciting.

I've tried several times to explain to foreigners how it works and they just don't get it.

To address the answer someone gave above....As someone who grew up in the UK playing cricket and then the US and played baseball I can easily say that baseball is the more difficult of the sports. Hitting a fastball pitch or a well thrown sinker is much more difficult than hitting anything in cricket! Defensively, baseball players need more athletics skills than fielders in cricket too. You NEVER see a fielder in cricket layout fully strectched to make a catch! And getting a 98mph fast ball hit at you when playing 3rd base is just plain scary! Nothing in cricket even comes close. Once I started playing baseball I became extremely bored with cricket!

I also agree with you. After the invent of One Day Internationals, even people were loving test match earlier started loosing interest in the Test Matches. Present only the cricket crazy people spend time to watch the Test Matches for 5 days.

that is a serious understatement, Im 99% sure there are more cricket fans in the world than baseball.

Just because you dont like it doesnt mean everyone else hates it as well.

And how is it more girly? having a harder ball bowled at your body, in stead of infront of you the whole time. And catching a harder ball wih bare hands in stead of a glove.

Yeah, real girly...
