Not to waste any more time on dreaming.... start working on them faithfully and relentlessly. But in order to live larger than life, you need to help others fulfil their dreams!!

Dreaming itself is 'trying' to live larger than life. There are no limits to dream. And like you said, life is finite, so the only logic would be to accommodate the infinite dreams into this finite/limited life that we have. Achieve everything possible, every dream accomplished, in this time that we have now. Taking up life each day as it comes, with a sharp eye on the future. That way you would be looking at the line where life ends, you would be living your dreams, larger than life, each day.

A persons life is like a bubble on the water. We dont know when we will die and no one I repeat, no one has control over his death.
It is only in the hands of a Super Power, who has created us, like who has created the first Man on earth "ADAM" / and later Eve.
Adam and Eve are considered to be Father and Mother of all human race. This is what Bible and Quran says.
Our wants are unlimited in this materialistic life of temptations.
One has to be contended to his wants and try to lead a very simple life, have good relations with other humanbeings and always do good, do not hurt others feelings which is supposed to be the biggest sin on earth. Well, you dont know how long you are going to live in this world. Every night we sleep, it is nothing but a model of death. The Creator who has created us only gives us, second life, next morning when we get up from our beds, alive. So, one can not live larger than his life fixed by the Creator.
Before ones birth, the number of breathings, the amount of food and length of life is already written by an Angle, on the womb of his mother, by the Supreme Creator, which no one can change or alter. This is what said in Bible and Quran. The Creator is Allah as per Quran.
Believe it or not. This is the truth !

The only way to live infinitely is to live for an idea a cause which lives and extends beyound your life span .. its stays behind you .. you do ur best for it through out ur life .. you make sure there are others who will carry on after your death .. and then you live forever ... what you started will flourish and grow beyound your finite life ...
And u live forever ... or in other words your life-dream lives after you ... forever
but if u dnt wanna do that ... just dont dream big ...

im amazed coz you've got a lot of dreams...infinite dreams as you've said...but the problem is that life is finite which is very much true....how to live larger than life???
for me...to live larger than life is simply to live simply and to live life to the fullest....death is a very certain thing...so we should always and always bear that in our mind...that someday or maybe tomorrow or from this very point of time we will certainly die...anyway...its normal for us to dream and dream and dream...its not a big deal really..but we should also realize that those dreams may sometimes remain as dreams...living larger than life doesn't mean fulfilling all your dreams...the tragedy of life as they say is not reaching your goal..it is in having no dreams or goals to reach....if you'll believe that death is not the end of everything or that there is life after death then you can infinitely dream and dream as long as you want...so continue dreaming....a finite life should not be the burden for you to continue dreaming......

Who says life is finite? There are people who lived only 30 years but lived a great life . Some to 100 but just withered. length of life and acievements are unrelated.
Our problems are really our inability to sort out which are achievable dreams and which not. We take on all the dreams at one time and dissipate our energy. Donot try to become what you are NOT. What you are , do it well . .Your life will expand.

Write books about your dreams (where do you think famous stories like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and War of the Worlds came from).
Keep plugging away at making life larger. You will see that it can get larger.

stick to one best dream and enjoy life to fulfill it rather than having many dreams with finite life.

You gave the answer in your question. Live in dreams, live in your mind, you will see that your soul is capable of going beyond the boundries of life that makes you feel you're trapped. You will live larger than life in yourself and you will discover the infinity of the infinity in your dreams.
