I start my answer by saying that at 20 days distance nobody can say what will be the weather for sure but as a rule at Naples temperature is always rather warmer as in mostly of Italy.
Average of Xmas period in the past years has been around 39°F/min. and 55°F/max. - With such a temperature it's not really necessary you wear gloves and a scarf (I don't know what is the "very jacket" but if it's a coat you'll need it for sure) but due they are light weight you can put them in yr suitcase....!!

Buon Natale !!

Hello Philip, as we have to do with something unsure like weather we can only speak with the help of weather statistics.
The statistics for Naples for the period you ask are that the average temperature pending from +3 °C (min.) ... to +14 °C (max.) in Celsius scale (or from +37.4 °F ... to 57.2 °F in Fahrenheit scale).

Also have in mind that the average sunlight is 3 hours during the day.
Happy holidays!
