being gay is really hard!?

loss of friends , family ,
discrimination in job and housing,
definitely job.
how do you cope ?

I try to live my life and make myself happy and if others aren't happy with me for the way I am, then ... oh well.. As long as I'm happy... that's all that matters and if they want me happy, eventually, they will accept me. So far, my family has accepted me. It's hard. Sometimes; some family is always stuck up and never accepts you. Just be who.. and try not to worry about impressing everyone else.. do what makes you happy.

Believe in yourself. If they are not accepting you then , you don't need to be around them! When it comes to a job ... you just gota play it cool while at work! I found out when my oldest daughter was 18 years old .... she wanted to come live with me and she went to live with her dad at 14 years old b/c I was having such problems with her! But, anyways she told me that before she came down there was something she had to tell me! I said ok! She said she was gay! Well, I couldnot say anything for about a minute and told her I would call her back b/c I needed a minute! I sat and I thought about it. I had gay friends and I have really nothing against no one, but you here of this happening and you just don't think of it happening to you! I love her dearly so, I thought I am going to deal with it b/c she is my daughter and I love her no matter what! I have since then been trying to understand her life style but, it is not for me to live so, we get along alot better now! I don't got to understand like i first thought ... I just learned to accept her for who she was and she is a beautiful person and so loving! I hope my story helped you out some!
