Yes!!!! It isn't Christmas until you see the "Holidays are coming" Coca Cola ad on the tv... the new one isn't at all "Christmassy"
Luckily we have the song downloaded so we were able to play it when putting the decorations up last night.
I'm embarressed that I've been sucked into the whole corporate marketing by Coca Cola... the writers earned their money on that one....

If you are waiting for corporate america to supply you with your holiday cheer and signal the beginning of christmas I am afraid you have bigger problems than coca-cola can remedy.

It's bitterly disappointing how some people can base their holiday on what the marketing department of any company comes up with. Do you remember what Christmas used to be about to begin with?

There is a whole facebook group dedicated to reviving the good old holidays are coming ads. Visit www.petitiononline.com/xmascola/petition.html. So many people have e-mailed cocacola they have now released a press statement and have automated e-mails to the many thousands who have complained. Join the revolution!

I have discussed this widely with my friends and we have come to the decision that we agree. Even since i remember i was brought up watching that advert every December, Christmas only ever started when that advert came on with Santa and his bottle of coke. I protest bring back the old advert or Christmas will become extinct for future generations.

Bitterly disappointed???? Luv, if your xmas cheer and excitement is the anticipation of a Coke advert I think you should answer the door and put the kettle on the next time the Jehovas come knocking.....

Drat, I haven't seen it yet! Or the Budweiser Clydsdales, either.
It won't be Christmas until I do! I miss the Norelco ad, with Santa riding a razor!
