Make up is very powerful .. it can change a person appearance.. agreed?
i think so too .. with makeup/haircolour and colour contacts i think can change a person appearance too..
eg.. for me i'm south east asian but with makeup and lighter hair colour i look pan-asian /bi-racial .. add some thick eyeliner and green contacts i end up looking middle eastern..with no eyeliner and white eyeshadow i end up looking chinese..
this is what people say ..about me having different faces until they dont know which is my real face. ..
cannot imagine what if the world will be like if there is no make up / hair dye/styling items or cosmetic coloured lenses..
this is just a statement. feel free to argue yr views.
some mite say the attention given to me was of the wrong reasons due to my looking horrifying due to my lighter hair colour and contacts.
its not what i think i look good. its compliments from others and some strangers who asked about my ethnicity coz i look different.

i totally agree with you. i don't wear it during the day but when i do put it on(the right way and the right colours for your hair skin and lips) i do like the result and my confidence goes p straight away, and you kinda feel the power that comes with it (as long as you're not too cocky or over confident, big turn off) and the compliments are great, especially if you don't wear it tooooo often, more startling to others that way. after all we have to be able to live with our own natural skin, and if we take care of that, it can only help. i hate bright red lipstick!!! and blusher that hasn't been blended right and foundation lines under the chin!!!

I totally LOVE makeup & am an ex model so have had the pleasure of having it applied for me, even though I have been trained to apply it myself. I look completely different when I wear make up & even more so with colored contacts. The 1st time I ever wore makeup my own mother walked right past me!
I feel kind of empowered with makeup on, I have lots more confidence.

I don't see anything wrong with playing around with makeup/hair dye/colored contacts until you find a look that's right for you. As long as you aren't trying to look like another race because you feel inadequate and are just experimenting for the fun of it... why not?

i don't know if makeup can change a persons look as drastically as you've mentioned, but i do know that it does make a hell lot of difference on a person...i mean there is a reason why celebrities and models look so gorgoeus all the time.its all in the make up

Yes, totally. Everyone can alter themselves with simple make-up, quite scary. I once met a girl for the first time with make-up on, then I saw her again without and barely recognised her!

I agree! I love makeup. It's fun & it's refreshing to change up your look once in awhile. We are all going through metamorphosis.
Makeup also reflects my mood!

i agree..
but i dun like putting on make up..
it makes my face look so fake and its like ''putting on a fake front''.
but make up really harms your skin. unless you can afford to buy expensive make up . but expensive does not naturally mean they dun block your pores..
i dun like make up.. it harms the skin.
but without make up , pple will be ugly.
so whats the point i am making?
i want to look pretty but without make up.
how?
i dunno.. can they invent something like that?
i hate surgeries.
