Wrong? Probably. I depends. Illegal? Yes. Although, in California, you can provide it to others who have a prescription if you have valid papers regarding it from the government. Consult a California attorney specializing in this area to know what you have to do.
Is it wrong? If pot really does have medicinal characteristics, then it isn't wrong to provide it for use as a medicine. If it is being sold just to get high, then, being illegal, it tends to promote crime (although pot probably isn't as bad as other types of drugs). As such, you are possibly supporting huge criminal activities and killing the brain cells of a lot of kids. You may also be causing the deformation of unborn children and causing parents not to take such good care of the kids they do have. It may cause numerous people to be convicted of various crimes. It may also cause certain people to forego standard medical treatment so they can try pot as a medical treatment. Selling a few ounces may only be a very tiny part of the overall pot problem, but if you sell a few ounces and someone else sells a few, then soon you are talking about a huge international problem. In my opinion, it is bad stuff and you should stay away from it.

I think if you didn't grow it, it's wrong to sell it. If you didn't grow it yourself, you have no idea what's in it, where your dealer bought it from, who they bought it from, etc. So for all you know it could be laced with harmful chemicals or its sale could have funded some terrorist group somewhere.

legally yes morally I would have to say no if the person is a "adult " he has the right to make himself stupid in anyway that pleases him as long as he doesn't harm others and if he even ends up killing himself overdosing on speed or crack that is his right " think of it as evolution in action " ( sorry L&J )
