To be a Representative of the House of Representatives or a Senator in the United States Senate, the Constitution only requires that you must be:

1) twenty-five years old at the time of your election if you are a Representative and thirty years old at the time of your election if you are a Senator
2) reside in the state you represent
3) be a citizen of the United States for seven years to serve in the House of Representatives and be a citizen for nine years to serve in the Senate (you can be an immigrant if you serve in Congress, only the President must have been born in the United States)

A Representative serves a two-year term and every one of the 435 representatives in the House stand for reelection every two years. A Senator serves a six-year term and one third of the entire Senate is up for reelection every two years. Until 1913, all Senators were elected by their state's legislature. This was changed to allow for the direct election of Senators by their state's citizens through the ratification of the Seventeenth Amendment to the Constitution in that year.

D.B. Cooper below me seems to have missed that I mentioned the thirty year old requirement for Senators in point 1) ;)

Liberty's got it right, with one correction needed:

A Senator must be 30 years old to serve, not 25. To serve in the House of Representatives, however, 25 years of age is sufficient.
