Depends on the type of diabetes. Usually when a person is born with diabetes it is hereditary as opposed to a child that has childhood diabetes from a poor diet.

Diabetes is one of the many diseases for which there is no known cause. Heredity is a factor for many people but not all. Diet is a factor for many people but again, not all.
If you look at some medical websites youll find several risk factors for the disease. be sure you know if you are inquiring about type 1 or type 2 before you go investigating

What I have learned, in general, about disease is the most are resulted of a life style or genetic. I am and not genetic predisposed for diabetes but it does not mean I won't develop diabetes by my life style.

there is one compound called Insulin in our blood ,which burns extra glucose( which is generated by our food & not being digested for other body building use.)
In scarecity of this insulin the glucose remains in the blood & cause Diabetese.

It is herridetory but develops after 35 yrs of age.When it intense you have to control sugar & u can take Dionil tab to compancsate that.
