No, the Deutsche Mark has no value since the year 2002
The Deutsche Bundesbank has guaranteed that all DM cash may be changed into euros indefinitely, and one may do so at any branch of the Bundesbank. As of 2006 there are still promotions every now and then where Mark are accepted in shops.
One euro was set to be equivalent to DEM 1.95583.

Trust me, the answers given above are incorrect.
When the Deutchemark was converted to the Euro, it was pegged at DM1.95 = $1.00 (or, roughly, 52 cents).
Since the D-Mark was recalled, they are now non-negotiable. That is why current exchange rates are irrelevant. The only answer to your question is to return to the figures of the ERM (Exchange Rate Mechanism) as given above.

Ok the markets change daily but when the mark existed it was 2 to 1 at the the time they changed. Now its worth about the same as 60 cents.
