No....I do not think that birth control pills should-not-have-been invented in the first place.
They have prevented a countless myriad of unwanted pregnancies and have given women more sexual freedom (it's a matter of personal opinion as to whether that's a good or bad thing). Not to mention the other qualities that birth control pills have. Such as regulating periods, lessening the severity of period pain and contributing to reducing the risks of developing certain kinds of cancer.
The pill was an advancement, and i think should it be viewed positively for the most part.

I'm glad it was invented. Can you imagine how over populated this world would be if it wasn't invented. And when my daughter starts getting in her teens we are going to have the talk and I'll put her on the pill. God forbid that she becomes pregnant at 15. She'd have to drop out of school and work at McDonald's the rest of her life just to support her child.

No. In fact we need to spread knowledge and distribution of it throughout the world, especially 3rd world countries. Over population in the 3rd world is depleting economic and natural resources. How precious is life really when they're simply in the slumps begging for money, starving, and doing everything including committing crime and murder just to survive? Birth control pills are important considering not all couples enjoy using condoms. Having no pills will not necessarily mean they'll turn to condoms...maybe spermicide.

No I'm for the birth control pill, if the sperm doesn't fertilize the egg or reach the egg, it's all good. Condoms as well. Some Catholics think it's a form of abortion, but to me abortion is getting rid of the baby after the egg has been fertilized, turning it into an embryo.

Any invention can be used well or abused. The pills are a useful tool that has saved many women from abortions etc., and also it is used by doctors to help other situations, such as hormonal problems, dysmenorhhea, irregular cycle... But it doesn't replace the condom, because the latter prevents diseases and cancer.

I disagree. Its a great invention I think. If there were no birth controls then there would be so many mouths to feed.

They should have been invented millennia earlier.

Imagine, all the overpopulation, starvation, wars, and disease that could have been prevented with smaller populations. Not to mention the ability of millions of women to control their own destiny.

The pill is good. But many people don't know about them or don't use them, that is the problem.
