How do I find out what kind of motherboard my computer has?

Go to "RUN"
Type there "dxdiag"
The opening page will display the info you wanted

Open the case and read it on motherboard.

Most have the info imprinted on the board itself. Sometimes you can cross-reference the BIOS information to the board itself. You'd need to find the BIOS string and then search the web for that string value.

All motherboards will have its model number on it.

if its a brand computer, go to the manufacturer's website. They might have the specs for your computer. Or open the computer and check for brand on it.
