I vistited a friend today only to find them rather distraught about a blocked toilet, infact my friend was trying to unblock it by prodding it with a clothes hanger !!? It turn out she had no other means of tackling the problem, it was a real mess full to rim (not just with water.....) she had got on some really long rubber gloves so I asked her why she didn't just reach in and try to pull out the blockage, basically she was too much of a wuss/too hungover from the party that caused the problem.......to attempt this, me being the helpful friend I am borrowed the gloves, I didnt think about checking the gloves, I put them on and put my hand into the brown water I pulled out the blockage (a full roll of paper rammed down there) then took off the glove and realised I might as well have done this bare handed ! When I examined the glove it only had a tiny hole in the palm I cannot believe how much sh*t leaked in. Has this happened to anyone else or was I really unlocky ?

ewwwww!!!! thank you very much. you just ruined my night. lol
something similar happened to me last thursday. i was in my biology lab and we had to disect a pig. it was preserved in formaldehyde(which smelled awful). after the whole procedure, i realized that my glove had a hole in it, and the chemical had seeped in. my hand smelled awful throughout the day.

(-: You are a great friend -- it's really too bad that Karma decided to repay you by putting a hole in the glove.

Since the hole was in the palm, it may have stretched. The good news is, crap and barf all wash off with two minutes of hot water and soap. (I'm a mom -- I know all about barf and crap in undesirable places!)

I hope something really good happens to you to make up for it!

I think you were unlucky, but really kind to do that.
My bar of soap fell down the loo and I refused to get it out. Even with gloves. lol.

Yes, I had to wash my clothes again, and take another shower. That totally ruined my whole weekend.
