id keep most of it and spend some on the poor by actually going to them and giving them the aid they need. sometimes giving money aint enough, a vaccine is more useful etc. and i wouldn't sponser a child or give money through a program cause i dont know whether i can trust em or not.....
if i kept it all ill probs feel guilty, and that why id give some away......

I'm working poor, so I'd keep it and live off the interest, which at 5% is 50 thousand a year. I can live quite comfortably on that and STILL kick in to the salvation army kettle.

I would give some to the poor-pay medical bills. I would establish a website for people to apply with their medical bills.

I'll give some to the orphanage........ children are our future. As for the poor, isn't it better to get them a job for long run than to give them money for short term aid only

I would start an organization that would build a capacity for independent earning power among the poor...ensuring that you 'teach them HOW to fish'

I wouldn't help the poor. I would help abused children. Sick children. Abused women's shelters. I might help poor people that can't help themselves for health reasons.

I would focus on an old adage: "Show a man how to make his own bread, he can always feed himself." I would start a charitable foundation, helping them open their own American based industry or business. ( new auto and raw materials) Provide them with the know how. From there they could be the employers and do the same thing for others.
